WASHINGTON — Donald Trump has had some victories, and losses, as president of the United States.
What he hasn't had, in the 21 weeks since his inauguration, is a successful meeting with world leader, let alone a face-to-face meeting with many of them.
Yet at the first meeting of White House senior staff on Friday with the foreign ministers of Germany, France, Britain Metformin hcl er price
and Italy, Trump his team appeared to be ready strike. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov walked right up to the president and shook his hand, then sat down.
"I did not come here to discuss the United States' policies," Lavrov said, before he was asked a single question.
There was hardly the level of tension that greeted the previous meeting day on Jan. 27. Trump appeared to come the meeting with a good sense of humor and with a willingness to cooperate, rather than as though he had been summoned from the shadows.

Yet it is difficult to picture Trump and his White House team walking out of this latest meeting with a great sense of mission.
The fact is, relationship between United States and the Western world is, all in all, quite bad. But there's more bad than good, in what you can reasonably call relations between the U.S. and Russia.
There should be very little doubt that the relationship between Russia and United States is terrible.
Washington's relations with Moscow are the worst they have been since World War II, by far. The U.S. is in open war with Russia by the strategic doctrine of "strategic patience," while Russians have essentially declared war.
A New York Times article two weeks ago noted that the United States is only major country that has not been included on the list of "world's worst offenders" human rights in Russia.
Since President Ronald Reagan, U.S. presidents have publicly supported an oligarchy how much does cialis cost in the us that is killing the lives of Russian people in Syria and elsewhere, while Russia does not even show any public sign of an interest in the Syrian civil war — a that is key reason the Syrian army is falling apart.
In fact, U.S. relations with North Korea have gotten so bad that U.S. President Trump may have actually encouraged a nuclear exchange. You might think that a guy who said only.
